Hello to all from Fitgirl
Well thought I would say hello to everyone too.
I am Fitgirl and yes I am a "fit girl" too. You can all call me "Fit" if ya wanna reply
I am a fitness instructor and a local gym in my area I have been teaching for about 7 years. I teach between 8 to 12 different fitness classes each week. Not sure if any of you have heard of Les Mills Group Fitness Classes? I teach Body Pump, Body Combat, Body Balance, Body Attack & Spin. So a wide variety of different types. I also work on Reception and am also Group Fitness Manager so lucky for me this adds up to a full time job. I also enjoy dragging my poor best friend out bike riding on the weekends (we often do a 42km rides no matter how hot it is, the poor girl I even make her ride when its over 40 degrees. )
My resume reads like a novel, I have done everything from checkout chick, service deli manager, Mitsubishi Motors - production line, material handling, car detailing, rectification of vehicles, team leader, driving, reception blah blah blah, did heaps of stuff at Mitsi's was there for nearly 8 years, left there did reception job (boring!), mobile dog grooming (lots of fun), call centre job (not dirty), Telstra (boring) then the gym where I am now. whilst working at Mitsi's I did my fitness training and was teaching classes after work & on weekends.
My true passion though is and always has been my animals or well any animals!! I love em!
Okies so get ready for it..........I have two horses, three dogs, three cats, a cockatiel & a 4ft tropical fish tank with some very large African Cichlids swimming around in it. You may have seen my blurb & pics of my beautiful horses Keely & Silver. You can probably tell I am single, live on me own & no human kids. I love my life!!! ha ha
I am 33 years old (21 forever!!!! ) emigratied from england with my family when I was twelve. I have been riding since I was eleven and have loved horses probably since I could talk. Not really had many riding lessons either so pretty much self taught & in the process of breaking in Keely - which I have never done before either. Lucky for me she is absolutely brilliant and making it real easy for me.
Anyway am enjoying the new forum and glad there are more and more people here.
sooooo BIG HELLOOOOOO

Re: Hello to all from Fitgirl
Welcome Fitgirl!!
I used to love those classes... especially Pump (spin also... but in a love/hate kinda way). These days I don't have a gym membership though.
You've got a bit of a menagerie (sp?) happening there

Re: Hello to all from Fitgirl
yeah we could go for a ride???
Um what horses do you have? I not sure if you have written that anywhere
I ride around Oliver's and surrounding vines a bit and love going to Kuitpo or the beach. Or I ride down the old train line towards Willunga.
Do you do much riding out?

Oh we could go for a ride - I don't usually (actually ever) but it's because i dun't have anyone to ride with. If there was somewhere quiet for us to go I wouod love it - I'm sure my Smooch would too.
I have a youngster and a 11yo TB who is a lovely man but I lost some serious confidence hence going for a ride with a quiet horse on a quiet road.
Kuipto would be AWESOME!
I'm all excited now lol! actually next week I have off (unemployed as of today) so maybe we can go for a ride then??

Re: Hello to all from Fitgirl
Sounds good, Ummm I have Monday off next week (coz I have Breed-o-rama Sunday)
Or tuesdays I dont work until the evening, However I like to be home by about one coz I teach three fitness classes and need a nana nap
I am always free on Sundays for riding too.
Silver is an excellent horse to ride out in company he is literally bomb proof out and about. He can be the typical arab and try to jig jog etc but nothing in it. I am the person everyone with young horses wants to ride out with because he is soooo good. And I am not a hoon either am happy to plod or whatever anyone else is up for.
Ususally my first ride out with a new person/horse I prefer to plod anyway, just good to gage their reactions etc.
I have not been to kuitpo since summer so that would be great, we could meet at the rangers station top of Peters Creek road? what do ya reckon??? Maybe I should send you a private message????

Re: Hello to all from Fitgirl
Well, I'm busy on Monday until the early afternoon until say about 2 ish - If I got my skates on I could be at Kuipto at 3pmish. Failing that Tuesday should be fine (hey, if we get really into it maybe do both days!?)
I know Peters Creek Rd but dunno where the rangers station is... where is it?
Oh this will be fun!! I'm glad that Silver is a quiet fella, I think smooch will be too, but if he gets quiet vibes from Silver, I won't be complaining
*trots off to tell Smooch all about it*

Re: Hello to all from Fitgirl
3pm Monday is good for me too.........
Well if ya drive right to the end of Peters creek Road (where the saw mill is) the ranger station is right opposite, I have a forest pass but you will need one too I think it's only two bucks.
then we can drive down to the the car park bit off of brookmans road and go from there. It's a lovely spot for a ride.
and or Tuesday morning .......
what da ya reckon????
