I'm in a bad fix :(

A real bad one!

See, last week I had a day off. Just a wee lill day for mental health purposes mainly. Didn't actually go to the doc's (although the doc suggested it)

I need a doc's certificate. I dun't have one. I maybe sorta said I'd produce one

What do I do cos I am in a fix?

Would they accept a stat dec or something saying that you needed the mental health day??

Can doctors backdate certificates??

Or you can order blackmarket certificates I think... (I read it in the paper, not talking from experience )

I wonder if I could pay somemone to do one... hmmm...
Or just keep doing the ol, whoops I forgot it... whoops I can't find it... and hope I still get paid.

Could ya make up a little page similar to what a med cert looks like. and do a rough signature and days off and stuff.

Then spray some water on it so the ink runs.. then you could say I had it, but I dropped it into a puddle...

I'm going to be real serious like here and say don't forge or make anything up...you never know what's going to come back and bite you on the bum.

I'd probably fess up and say you've lost it...but then again they could say, go back and get a replacement.

So I guess you've only got two options....just ignore their requests or say you had meant to get one but were too sick to go....I know I can't go anywheres when I have a migraine.

Are you able to take sick days with no evidence?

My other secret is to have a really really kind boss... when I've had a sick day he normally "gives" it to me.

I don't think so when you're on probation Fozzie Bear.....probation as in not in a job for three months.

AND technically in the State I'm from, you aren't entitled to sick leave in the first three months - you can have it after your three months probation - but that's depending what you negotiated when you were employed.

Oops... I forgot that part.

See, i am in a fix.

Good news is that today they forgot to remind me and the pays are processed tomorrow so if they remind me tommorrow it will have to be a next pays job. I then will have two weeks to think of a suitable excuse... I losts it etc.
