Horrible nasty little splinter

I got a wee tiny little splinter in my index finger. Keep squeezing and squeezing and it won't come out. I don't really have anything that's sanitary to prod it out.

Argh... I guess that's my punishment for doing gardening!

Get a fork to it mate - lick it before you touch the splintery area (for hygeine like) and dig it in.

That's what I'd do mate. although I do have a pair of tweezers in my handbag, a fist aid kit and a spare phone

How is a fork sharp enough to dig out splinters?? I'm kind of surprised you didn't suggest putting it in the microwave to sanitise it.

And you're a very organised cookie... first aid kit? that wouldn't fit into my hand bag! I got enough junk as it is But then again... I reckon you should definately keep it in your bag!!

Well Buttons... it's one of them things that men do.

Fist aid is slang for punching, the kit is doing it more than once... so it's basically a punching fight.

The splinter is still there... I thought I'd gotten it out yesterday, but my finger is still sore
