CM Kai Sea is a gelding by Allen Park Bald Eagle out of a mare called Kate that I used to own. Shell and Craig organised Kai Sea's purchase for me and went above and beyond, getting him delivered to their place and boarding him for about 3 months for me... They really chose him for me and I am extremely happy with him.

He is coming up to 2 years old now and has had some handling, mouthing and has been ridden a few times. 4 days after being picked up from Shell and Craigs a local Horse Breaker Ron Adams bridled, saddled and mounted him all without a halter....

Ron has described Kai Sea as a lovely soft horse, who wants to please and who will develop into a fantastic allrounder.

Kai Sea is looking very hairy at the moment but has already grown out of one rug and is fast growing out of his 2nd rug. I rug him loose in the yards or paddock and even my 'not so horsey' husband is able to put a halter on him, rug him and handle him.

I cant wait until he finishes growing and then I can start riding him... At the moment he is out in the paddock during the day and in the stable at night and other than a brush down, rugging and feeding, I have left him alone to grow out.

.....I couldn't bear to see him in a 2nd hand canvas that was rubbing his shoulders any longer so today he got a new rug today.... just a cheap synthetic cause thats all the budget could stretch to. I picked up a Eureka combo for $100... he is now in a 6ft rug (a bit big but had to leave some growing room).....

Its electric blue in colour and my OH laughed when he saw it... At least its not purple....

Hey Yollie do you have any pics of Kai Sea?? would be nice to see what he looks like.

I think Allen Park Bald Eagle is my filly's great grand father??? but I might be wrong.

Cool.....my Cullen is already in 6ft combo, a big boy! Yes where's the piccies as I remember seeing him on Allen Park site...he was just darn lovely boy!

I try not to buy brand new rugs as it only last not long...always outgrowing them...

Fitgirl, you are dead right, AP Bald Eagle is your fillys great granddaddy

Cant wait to see some new pics of him Yollie, I bet hes bulked out a bit more too as well as having grown 'up'.........hes a LOVELY boy.... we knew you would love him!

Darn shame we had that SES job that weekend we were sposed to come down to see you!!!

Well, a little update - we saw Kai Sea last week when we were down visiting Yollie and her hubby and their gold plated doggie Bailie!!!

Kai Sea is looking amazing - he has gotten so tall!!!!! Not what Yollie or we expected!!! Im pretty sure that if Trent, Jason and Grant saw him they would be surprised at how big he is too!

He is coming along really well........ and he and Flash, Yollies other horse love nothing more than playing together!!
